christina milianMulti-talented phenomenon, Christina Milian, is a globally recognized actress, singer, songwriter and entrepreneur.
At a young age, Milian, had the urge to be in show business and became a junior journalist on Disney Channel’s “Movie Surfers.” Her talent was quickly recognized and she appeared on a variety of TV shows from “Clueless,” “Sister, Sister,” “Smart Guy,” “Charmed,” “The Steve Harvey Show,” and “Get Real.” While she enjoyed acting, her career took a turn when her incredible voice was discovered. The Grammy-nominated superstar started her music career at just 19 when she signed with Def Jam and shortly after released her debut album with hit singles like “When You Look at Me” and “AM to PM,” which quickly charted on the Billboard Hot 100. Three years later, in 2004, the Ozone award-winner released her next album, It’s About Time, that included the smash song, “Dip It Low,” which soared to #5 on the Billboard chart. With fans begging for more, Milian released So Amazin in 2006 with “Say I” peaking Top 30 on the charts. During her music career, Milian signed with Lil Wayne’s Young Money/Cash Money/Universal label where she released two singles in 2015, “Rebel” and “We Ain’t Worried” and was also featured on Wayne’s hotly anticipated single “Start A Fire.” Not only can she sing, but as a songwriter, Milian has co-authored some of the most popular music of the decade from Jennifer Lopez’s “Play” to Paula DeAnda’s “Walk Away” and Justin Bieber’s “Baby.” Although she has become an icon in the music industry, Milian has taken her talent to the big screen. She has appeared on NBC’s Emmy Award-winning show, “The Voice,”, and she has teamed up with dancing idol, Mark Ballas on ABC’s hit show, “Dancing with the Stars.” As fans became more and more intrigued with Milian and her family’s day to day life, E! Network aired a docu-series “Christina Milian Turned Up.” While she enjoyed being herself on television, Milian had the natural talent to act and starred alongside John Stamos on FOX’s “Grandfathered.” With film credits like “Pulse” opposite Kristen Bell, “Be Cool” alongside John Travolta, Uma Thurman and Vince Vaughn, “Man of the House” with Tommy Lee Johns, “Love Don’t Cost a Thing,” a remake of the classic comedy, “Can’t Buy Me Love,” and the action-thriller “Torque,” with Ice Cube and Jay Hernandez, Milian has done it all. She has been featured in “Dora and Friends: Into the City,” Hulu’s season three of “East Los High,” “Baggage Claim,” “Christmas Cupid,” CBS shows “A Gifted Man” and “CSI.” Her famous voice can also be heard as the mermaid in “La Sirena Mala” and Esther on “Family Guys.” Milian continues to perform from the screen to the stage, she also added entrepreneur to her already impressive resume. She has founded two brands, House of Fine Gold and Beignet Box, and consistently elevates them to bring each brand to the next level. |
